Engagement Manager

On behalf of Responsive, we are looking for an ambitious and driven Engagement Manager to join their fast-growing consultancy and help their clients' digital and commercial teams succeed in the digital era.

As Engagement Manager, you will be part of ambitious large scale digital transformations, working in close collaboration with clients, partners, and your team to identify digital and commercial opportunities and lead project streams and programs that turn opportunities into innovative working solutions with leading technology, AI and the power of data as core.

Beyond client work, you will contribute to Responsive’s internal growth by refining consulting methodologies, mentoring younger colleagues, enhancing ways of working, and helping scale the firm.

The position

As an Engagement Manager at Responsive, you will play a key role in leading project streams, you will work independently on high-impact engagements, and you will manage teams of consultants, business analysts, architects, developers, and other technology experts. With your experience in digital transformation and commercial excellence, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and ensuring their successful delivery across complex environments.

You will work closely with clients at all levels, building strong relationships and fostering trust. Through your expertise, you will act as a strategic advisor, helping clients transition into the digital age by implementing solutions that align with their business goals. Your leadership will not only ensure the success of the projects but also contribute to the ongoing development and partnership between Responsive and their clients.

You will take full ownership of key streams, from scoping and planning to converting business cases into actionable roadmaps. Clients include Matas, Coop, G-Star Raw Denim. Focus is often centered on commercial excellence and digital transformation helping and advicing your clients' digital and commercial teams succeed in the digital era by identifying step-change and transformative digital business opportunities, defining and implementing new leading technologies, optimizing processes and operating models, driving change management, and refining business processes.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience grown in a consulting environment either at consulting firms or within strategic development departments at larger companies.

You are highly experienced within digital transformation and have a curious mindset. Your background includes a proven ability to deliver independently in complex environments, lead programs and larger projects and manage complex client relations, with a strong track record of delivering impactful results. You should be adept at managing and executing multi-year transformation programs within a PMO-structure, spanning multiple tracks and report to C-suite executives.

You lead by example, guiding teams through challenges, setting high standards for execution, and mentoring junior team members. With a collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Your educational background, ideally in business, technology, or a related field, will complement your hands-on experience in consulting, making you well-prepared to take on this exciting role at Responsive.
