The position

As Senior Director, Global Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive global marketing strategy that drives commercial success and business transformation. You will oversee a global marketing organization of approximately 50 FTEs and take full accountability for the company’s marketing function, customer engagement, and marketing operations. You will be a crucial part of their global sales organization and drive growth via innovative and integrated sales and marketing strategies.

A key focus of this role will be leveraging 3Shape’s leading position in the Dental Lab and Dental Clinic segments to strengthen its market presence and differentiation. This includes building a strong product branding strategy and positioning 3Shape within a compelling dental ecosystem that supports its evolution into a fully integrated hardware and software solutions provider.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support 3Shape’s journey and report to Global CCO John Cusack. Your leadership will be pivotal in continuing the journey shifting from traditional awareness-driven marketing to a more sales-oriented and customer-centric approach.

Your profile

You bring at least 10 years of senior marketing leadership experience, including leading leaders, preferably within the MedTech or related industry, with a strong track record in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives within a global business environment. You have successfully led and developed high-performing marketing teams and have deep expertise in both direct sales and indirect partner sales models.

You possess a strong commercial mindset, with experience in branding, demand generation, and digital marketing. You have a proven ability to translate corporate strategy into an actionable marketing roadmap, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives. Your expertise includes implementing AI-driven personalization, marketing automation, and data-driven strategies to enhance performance and engagement.

As a leader, you excel in mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management within complex organizations. You have extensive experience managing marketing budgets, optimizing spend, and driving measurable business outcomes.
