Head of Growth

On behalf of Freetrailer, we are looking for a commercially driven and analytically strong Head of Growth to build and lead a scalable growth function across markets, channels and customer journeys—spanning both digital performance and partner-led onsite activations—with a clear emphasis on B2B growth and lead generation, while ensuring strong B2C growth in bookings and rentals.

About the position

As Head of Growth, you will shape and run Freetrailer’s overall growth strategy with primary responsibility for B2B growth, lead generation and revenue support for the sales organisation. You will set clear objectives across markets and channels, and ensure that decisions are grounded in robust data, clear insights and strong commercial logic.

Growth at Freetrailer is not solely a digital discipline. A key part of the role is to connect growth initiatives to commercial partner activation—working closely with Sales and Brand Activation in the MarCom team to plan and execute tailored partner initiatives (e.g., onsite visibility, in-store activation and local marketing) that drive both lead generation and actual trailer rentals.

You will work closely with the CMO on strategic priorities, trade-offs and execution. A core part of the role is delivering clear analyses, reports and recommendations that enable sharp, data-driven decisions at senior level. This requires the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and provide the CMO with a solid and practical decision foundation.

You will be part of a strong MarCom team based on the ONE Team mindset and work closely with Brand Activation, Design & Communications, Tech, Sales and Business Operations. Through this collaboration, you will ensure a unified effort-image across the organisation, creating clear alignment between marketing spend, user acquisition, partner activity and actual trailer rentals.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and run Freetrailer’s overall growth strategy with a clear emphasis on B2B growth, lead generation and revenue support across markets.
  • Build, operate and continuously optimise a scalable lead engine that delivers high-quality leads to the sales organisation, aligned with strategic partnerships and priority industries.
  • Lead experimentation and optimisation across channels, segments and markets, translating insights into initiatives with clear and measurable commercial impact.
  • Drive cross-functional growth initiatives with Sales and Brand Activation, translating partner potential into tailored activation plans (onsite, in-store and partner-specific marketing) and measuring impact on leads, conversions and rentals.
  • Own the B2C growth track across app and web, ensuring continuous optimisation of customer acquisition, conversion and retention—while prioritising B2B lead generation and sales enablement.
  • Own performance marketing and growth investments, including budgets, forecasting, prioritisation and external agency partnerships.
  • Establish a robust tracking, attribution and KPI framework in close collaboration with Tech and Business Operations, unifying data across app, web, partners and CRM to enable actionable insights across B2C and B2B.
  • Build and develop a high-performing growth team while ensuring alignment, structure and momentum across the organisation.

You will be working in-office at Freetrailer’s headquarters at Dampfærgevej 10, Copenhagen.

 

Your profile

You are an analytically strong and commercially minded growth profile with significant experience in B2B growth, lead generation and revenue-focused growth initiatives in complex, cross-functional environments
You bring solid experience from growth, performance marketing, revenue operations or consulting and have a proven ability to translate data, experimentation and optimisation into measurable commercial results. You understand tracking and attribution deeply, including what constitutes a credible attribution setup, and are able to define, challenge and govern models, even if you are not hands-on implementing them yourself.

You operate comfortably at both strategic and operational levels with strong experience in CRO, tracking, attribution and tools such as GA4, Meta Ads, Google Ads, LinkedIn, and CRM systems.

As a person, you are highly accountable, self-driven and execution-oriented. You take ownership, show initiative and drive momentum independently. Your commercial understanding is strong and decisive. You understand how growth activities connect to revenue, sales priorities and long-term business value. You thrive in environments with multiple stakeholders and have proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives where alignment, clarity and commercial insights are critical.
