On behalf of Dancover, we are looking for a commercially driven and execution-strong eCommerce- & Marketing Director to lead the company’s digital growth agenda across marketing, performance and customer experience. The Position

As eCommerce- & Marketing Director at Dancover, you will take the lead in shaping and executing a holistic marketing agenda that drives both short-term performance and long-term brand growth. You will be responsible for setting the direction across Paid and Non-Paid channels while building a scalable marketing setup rooted in data, customer insights, and commercial objectives.

A key part of the role will be to define and implement an integrated marketing strategy – combining strong performance execution with a clear brand narrative that resonates across markets. You will manage a lean team of 5–7 specialists and play a central role in the Management Team, working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Private Equity stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and execute detailed marketing roadmaps, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Strengthen Dancover’s brand presence across channels and markets by translating business goals into a clear and differentiated brand story – supporting trust, relevance, and customer engagement.
  • Oversee the full marketing tech stack (Shopify, CDP, automation platforms, PIM, ERP), ensuring data-driven execution, operational efficiency, and personalization at scale.
  • Lead conversion optimization and user experience initiatives, increasing funnel performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a key partner to the CEO and investors, delivering performance insights, growth reporting, and strategic marketing recommendations to the Board.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration, ownership, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in digital marketing and eCommerce, ideally with 8+ years of experience in a fast-paced, digitally driven environment. You may come from a high-growth eCommerce business or a performance-oriented B2C company, where you have owned both Paid and Non-Paid channels and delivered measurable commercial results.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing and optimizing Paid Media (Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads), SEO, email marketing, and conversion rate optimization. You are confident working with tools such as Shopify, Klaviyo, and CDPs like Raptor, and understand how systems like PIM and ERP can support scalable digital operations.

You combine a data-driven mindset with a commercial approach and thrive in environments where strategic thinking and operational execution go hand in hand. You are a clear communicator who can translate performance metrics into business decisions and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels – including the CEO, Board of Directors, and Private Equity partners.
